THE TOUR
The tour is underground, and lasts a good hour. Since the mine is damp and cool (12-13°C), please bring along suitable footwear and a jacket. Helmets are provided.
Please note that the mines have two narrow staircases; the stairwell has 163 easily navigable steps running downwards (height 1.8 m). There is constant lighting underground.
Dogs can also take part in the tour, as long as they are not afraid, and are kept on a leash.
TOUR REGISTRATION
Individuals and families do not have to register during the display mine’s opening hours. We ask larger groups to please register in advance (tel. 06502-988588 or 06502-994019; email: info@bergwerk-fell.de). Group tours may also be organised outside opening hours.
